Every culture that has ever cooked has revered the egg — load-bearing, self-sealing, perfectly proportioned. We borrowed its geometry, not just its silhouette.

The same grade used in commercial kitchens worldwide. 18% chromium stops corrosion cold. 10% nickel delivers the mirror finish. It won't react with food, pit under heat, or scratch into memory.

The designer

Petr Siedlaczek

A designer from the Czech Republic known for functional objects that don't look like afterthoughts. Petr built OVA around a single question: how little can a kitchen need and still do everything? The egg — efficient, ancient, load-bearing — was the answer.
